This page is for the reader who is not the only person using Copilot. Tick what is already true. Not what is planned.

• [ ] Someone can say, without looking it up, who has a Copilot licence and who does not.

If not: you find out when one person demos a feature their colleague cannot open. Fill it in here: Copilot licence register. Columns already set up, five example rows, and one of them is a mistake on purpose.

• [ ] You know what Copilot can already reach for an average employee. In your tenant, not in theory.

If not: the first honest answer you give about privacy will be a guess.

• [ ] Somebody has checked whether your SharePoint permissions are what you assume they are.

If not: Copilot surfaces a document to the wrong person, and it looks like Copilot's fault.

• [ ] There is a written answer to "did it read my private files", in words a non-technical colleague accepts.

If not: three people answer that question three different ways in the same week.

• [ ] The prompts you recommend live somewhere findable, not in a chat thread.

If not: everyone reinvents the same prompt and nobody reinvents the good one.

• [ ] You have decided which tasks Copilot must not be used for, and written it down.

If not: somebody uses it for one of them, and the decision gets made after the fact.

• [ ] Somebody owns the answer when the output is wrong.

If not: the answer is "Copilot", which is not a person, so it becomes you.

• [ ] You can tell whether use is going up from something other than a feeling.

If not: you are asked for a number in a meeting and you estimate it out loud.
